Is this the same as a merchant QR from my bank?
It works with every UPI app for receiving payments to your UPI ID. Merchant QR codes from banks can add settlement reports and soundbox alerts, which a plain UPI QR does not.
Is it safe?
The code only contains your UPI ID and name — no PIN or bank details. Payers always see your name in their app before paying.
